Hong Kong

Hong Kong. A city of contrast and diversity --- at least from what I've observed in just one day. On one side of the street, you can buy bugs to eat, and on the other side there's a Starbucks. Foreigners are not such a foreign thing here, and it's nice to blend in for once. Mountains are the backdrop for skyscrapers on a beautiful island that ironically has some sort of construction going on across every bit of its face.

I rode the metro, which made me feel like I was in the Atlanta airport. Thoughts of home, and yet still a love for traveling and seeing all things new. It's been a great day...

This one's for you, Crub...

Yes.

Red said yes...

Bit of a swimming party in the bathroom tonight.

My heart is thrilled.

Soy...drink?

There are these little stores here on the side of the road that sell ... soy milk? It's literally soy beans mixed with water in a blender. The drink is served warm, and has an interesting texture and consistency....chalky. Peptobismol? The quirky little thing about these stores is that they all look the same - on the outside and the inside, the walls are covered with wallpaper that looks like a bunch of soy beans. Their cups look like that too. After a venture to buy some earrings, I stopped at the soy bean chalky drink place for some refreshment. I made it into the garage just before it started raining....
